Our data centers are protected 24 hours a day
7 days a week by on-site security personnel. Physical security is handled by
secure card-key access to facilities, requirement of personal photo ID as well as
lock and key access to server cages. In addition, the premises are controlled by a
sophisticated on-site security infrastructure consisting of closed-circuit surveillance cameras and
electronic tracking systems to ensure the highest level of physical security
to the MailStreet network.

Protection from Spam and malicious content with MailStreet Defender.
For the ultimate in spam and virus protection, the MailStreet Defender add-on for
MailStreet can provide additional protection to your inbox from malicious email
and content. In addition to state of the art spam prevention, additional
levels of anti-virus and worm prevention are available in MailStreet Defender levels

Secure Account Provisioning
MailStreet utilizes AbrideanProvisortm for secure provisioning of customer
mailboxes. Provisor allows for secure creation of organizational
units, mailboxes and security policies for each MailStreet information store database.
This means that customers only have permission to objects inside of their
organizational unit and that they are automatically protected from unauthorized
access from users outside of their organization.

Secure Connectivity via SSL / Secure VPN
Connections to MailStreet using Microsoft Outlook 2003®
and Microsoft Windows XP® are all made over 128-bit SSL/HTTPS.
This allows all connections made between Outlook and the MailStreet system
to be encrypted. Additionally, with users who don’t have access
to Windows XP, secure VPN tunnels can be created to connect securely to
the MailStreet network.

Network Security
MailStreet employs a variety of network monitoring tools both hardware and software based to
monitor hacker, mail-bomb, virus and denial-of-service attacks. Through this combination of firewall and
intrusion detection systems, we monitor the safety of our network 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
